21 DAY FIX / 21 DAY FIX EXTREME — My Personal Review

First let me say I have used tons of at home programs: Biggest loser, Jillian Michaels, Bob Harper, Zumba, Tae Bo, & that’s not considering all of the Beachbody programs over the years! I also already had a handle on eating well-or so I thought I did. A friend introduced me to the 21 Day Fix and I thought: “doesn’t look very challenging and don’t think I need the nutrition but ok I will do it with you.” Well 4 pounds and 5 inches later after 3 weeks I was singing a different tune. I have literally fallen in love with this program so much so I started doing my own challenges with this program just to help show other people what this program is made of. I will admit the eating part was easy for me-I only had to make a few tweaks. The workouts: well they are just amazing. I used to kill myself trying to do hard core cardio thinking this is what would get me the best results but I was wrong. The science behind this entire program is perfectly balanced and exactly the way we should be treating our bodies.

This is way out of my comfort zone to share these but I think it’s crucial in proving the success of this program so I’m going to share my before and after for 1 round of this program:

I started with the regular version of the 21 Day Fix and then went to the extreme version. Very intense! This one is not for the faint of heart and I would not recommend for beginners. Yes there is a modifier but even the modified moves are challenging. You will use more with resistance bands (this part I really liked), more pushups, less rest and more weights. Eating plan is more strict as well – no treats. Gets results and will take you to the next level for sure! Sorry I did not do before and after pics for this particular program.
